I would have bright shiny trumpets, banners, and a medieval style ball to commermorate my return to this side of the border, but as I doubt anyone has notice, I shall save the pomp and circumstance for when I win the Nobel Prize for peace of math. Whichever comes first. I start selling tickets to my award ceremony the 34th of August. Ticket price is debateable...

Well, yesterday I returned from the land of obesity, guns, and an accent that still tends to come out while I am talking. But it wasn't that bad... My new house is absolutely gorgeous, all 4100 square feet of it, but it is rather empty. We slept on air mattresses the entire time. Actually, two nights before we left to come home, we had a huge ass thunderstorm which prompted tornado warnings and no sleep for Nikki.

I even had to go through customs with my ugly passport. Why do passport photos come out so bad? You'd think that a country would want to make sure that the holders have nice photos so that when foreign people look at them they think that "Hey, [insert country] has beautiful people, maybe i should move there so i can be beautiful too, and i will bring all my money and boost {country}'s economy!!"

Does anyone else think this? No? Okay.....

I also toured the school, saw their spring musical Friday night, and oowed and awed at all the appropriate places. It was a really nice school- their aud is at least 2-3X the size of Mayfield's.

I bought two new manga while down in the states; Psychic Academy, and Kill Me Kiss Me. If you have not read the latter, get off your ass, take the computer with you, and keep reading my blog while you sit on the subway to your nearest comic store. It makes me feel important. One of ts catch phrases is "Crossdress to impress". I rest my case... And Ga-Woon is really hot! Super bully bishie who gets really confused... (is Korean manga so names are diff.). During my layover (no, I did not get laid on my layover, unfortunately... I am feeling jipped) I bought a Neil Gaiman book I have been looking for for awhile. "Good Omens", co-written with Terry Pratchett. The back reads as thus:

We hear the world will ned on a saturday. next saturday, in fact. just before dinner. Unfortunately, Sister Mary Loquacious of the Chattering Order has misplaced the Antichrist. The four horsemen of the Apocalypse ride motorcycles. And the representatives from Heaven and Hell have decided they actually like the human race...

Let's just say that the Angel Aziraphale and the Angel who did not Fall so much as Saunter Vaguely Downwards Crowley get drunk when they find out the Apocalypse is coming. I am laughing m,y ass of after every page. J-Lo should try my ass minimizing way of life- read this damn book, it would help her out.

I just finished my Jap. exam written portion today in prep. for presentatin next week. I had to talk about what I would do if i went to japan.

One reason? Ueno Kouen park--> SEISHIROU!!!!!!! I actually asked Sensei how i would say i was going to hug someone. My sentence came out as thus:

Tree-san ni dakishimemasu.

I love Tree-san. I even make reference to Subaru and Sei-chan. I am so amused. And i want to see Tokyo Tower because it gets destroyed a lot.

I think Sensei was frightened. add to that that i was jet-lagged and uber genki, and you have a very scary picture.

Did i mention that i bought my uber-cool prom dress? No? Just did. I love it, it is very dark/cool/WHEEE and it was cheap.

My life is complete, save for the loss of shopping.

I go to New York next week, very excited, am going to go to Hot Topic and spend mucho amounts of money.

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
