I have a confession......

I LOVE HANAKIMI!~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You see, it all started two nights ago. I was in my room (it was 11pm or thereabouts) and I had read all my slash several times over. And I reread "Darling, I love you!" and it actually made more sense the second time around. So anyways, I decided to read some Furuba. I got to the part when Haru proves his hair colour and fell out of my chair. It reminded me of Nick at North when he cosplayed as Haru and then as Bondage Ken. I laugh some more. Then I got tired of Tohru so I began flipping through my CD collection and came across the disc that KT gave me with over 20 volumes of Hanakimi. So i though to myself,

"Self, do you wanna read some Hanakimi?"

"Well Self, it involves crossdressing so it could be fun."

"At an all boys school, too."

"Which means guys questioning their sexuality and a girl trying to keep her secret. right?"

"And bishies"

"can't forget the bishies."

"Yep, let's go read some."

"Excellent decision, self"

"why thank you, self. I pride myself on making excellent decisions."

So I read some Hanakimi. Actually,, it would be more acurate to say that I read alot of Hanakimi. Let's just say that i stayed up until 4am reading it. I think I got up to volume 18 or so and only stopped because I knew we were busy tomorrow and would have to get up early. I think I got 5 hours of sleep.

The thing that I love about Hanakimi is how Mizuki keeps trying to keep her gender a secret while rooming with Sano. And the fact that Sano knows she is a girl and then falls in love with her and she with him but he doesn't say anything for fear he might lose her and she doesn;t say anything because she thinks he thinks she is a guy. And the gay school doctor who keeps students in his office. And the really pretty german guy who is an actor. and the soccer player (whose name escapes me right now. Natsu-something or other. He actually fell in love with Mizuki and admitted it. He thought he was gay and wanted to be with Mizuki until he asked her/him if he/she loved Sano. When he/she said yes, then Naadhgirgh (whatever his name is) said okay, i'll just be your friend.

The relationships are magnificent, the art is great, story is fun (at some points Mizuki and Co. are models, have to go to a ballroom dance where several have to dress as girls hee hee hee, and at one point Mizuki goes home to the states and Sano and Nahfgrhg follow. Her parents don;t know that she is at an all-boys school so she tells the two guys that her parents don;t remember any of their japanese - they do- andmuch fun ensues.

This morning Chris hooked up our video camera and we were watching old home movies from when we still lived in NB. I saw my grade 3 Xmas concert, skating in Shediac, our uber cool snow fort (we made one every year), Brownies' Halloween party, the geysers at Yellowstone park, and me getting out of the hospital. I think I was in the hospital for two days and I looked like shit when I got out. I had a ballonn though. I think I missed close to three weeks of school. It was not a good recovery period....

I have orientation at the school tonight so at least I have some time before classes start IN 4 DAYS to find my classes. I really hope that I have a good year and meet some people. But then again I am kinda loathe to meet people as I will only be with them for a year but how else will I spend my days if without friends? Bleh.

Jade just wrote another fic for Smutfest 3000. It was one involving blogs so there were much giggles to be had.

Toodles/
