I actually got to drive to school today and I should have the van for the next week while dad is in Bangok and mom in Anaheim. There is a certain freedom that comes with driving by yourself and I hope to take advanatge of that liberty as often as possible. I didn't get into an accident and Chris and I both arrived alive so all is well! I had to re-park a few times cuz I wasn't in the lines on the passenger side..whoops

I have said this once, I shall say it a thousand times- ENGLISH PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW GRAMMAR!!!! I had a test today on Appositives, Adverb and Adjective Clauses, and Participial Phrases~!! What the hell! I can fix the sentences so they come out right but I don't know what they're called! I just hope the beautiful sentencs that i wrote are what she wanted.

Tomorrow in APUSh we are going to start the War of 1812!! It should be interesting to hear it form the other POV> That's one beef I have with the Canadian scool system- at least in Ontario. You learn all the founding and confederation of Canada in elementary school- when you don't really care. and then when you get to High School and the only Canadian History you get to take is 20th century. Sure the World Wars and the depression are interesting but I wanna hear about Louisburg, and the French, and the wars, and the battles! By the time you get to high school you have forgotten so much of where your country comes from. At my school you have american history pre cvil war, ad post civil war. And then there's AP, which I have, which is two courses rolled into one year.

I can't believe it was THanksgiving up there- ours isn't for another month! Today is a good week though- i don't go to school until 11:30 on wednesday, then I get thurs. and fri. off. And then for Thanksgiving I get wed- frid off!!
