Two shows down, one to go!!!!! Opening night was last night and we did a repeat matinee this morning for 6th graders and they both went really well! The audiences were good- participating when they were supposed to ( and a few times not), and everyone did really well on lines or cover-ups. We used the understudies in today's show and we were all really worried cuz we knew they weren't ready, but they surprised us today! All 4 of them did so much better than we thought they would (Nellie onlyhad one big screw up, but it was for little kids so who cares?). After we did the matinee today we had to go back to school for the Homecomng pep assembly and Homecoming court but we didn;t have to be back until noon so we had an hour and a half to go get some lunch. I went with Alena, Elizabeth, Lauren, Tim, and a few others to McDonald's and had a happy meal. I got a Hello Kitty toy, go me!! Then we went to school in time for 1st lunch where I hemmed Alena' Colour Guard pants with safety pins. We went to Drama and Mrs. S wasn't back from the show yet so the supply gave us a reading but none of us in the show had any books so we just sat and talked about the show all period. I had gotten most of my saloon make-up off but I brought my own make-up remover. A lot of the guys couldn't get their eyeliner or lipstick off, and my red lipstick has permanently stained my mouth. And my hair is curly and full of gel and spray. It is most uncomfortable. I'll have to have a shower tonight and then redo my hair for tomorrow's final show.

The homecoming assembly was long and boring- my head was killing me and I started losing my voice. We actually had an alumn there who graduated in 1930!

Now I go find University apps. I got my one for MSSU but need to get the other three......oh joy oh bliss....
