I have just spent the last four hours transferring files from the old comp onto Cosmo. I bought my USB cable so Coretx is up and running- I ran a test print today, so cool! (I'm such a dork...) So Cosmo is up and running- the old comp is now in Chris' room and I now have a sleeker, hotter looking desk space, if I do say so myself. Took a long time to transfer everything, even while using the Flash Card. My picture files were the biggest- approx. 7oo MB of stuff. I had some scanlations on there that were about that, too.
Chris and i were up the last two days past 3 am cuz he was playing KOTOR II. Good game, hated the way it ended (damn endnotes with possibilities for sequels!! Halo 2 did it too!) So my sleep pattern is all mfsgjhsrughe. And school starts again soon. Joy. I haven't finished all my lines for the court show- i have about 210 out of the 250 done. Almost there!! And then I have to memorize my other show.. *grumble* Again, I believe this is my masochistic attitude playing out again.
Ugh.
And the quote RE: Alexander's only defeat, again from the Globe and Mail:
"Hephaestion was the man Alexander loved, and for the rest of their lives their relationship remained as intimate as it is now irrecoverable: Alexander was only defeated once, the Cynic philosophers said long after his death, and that was by Hephaestion's thighs." (from the biography by Robin Lane Fox, Alexander the Great)
I thought it was funny.....
