The last real rehearsal before showtime has passed- think I could get away with suddenly claiming that I have AIDS/sickle cell anemia/CF/ and the flu? No? Perhaps not, that wouldn't be entirely fair now, would it?

But I love going to rehearsals. Can't think of why, but it's one of the things I look forward to everyday. Minus the critisism. I think I am the worst possible person on the planet for taking critisism. I remember on the the Mayfield audition form we had to get a teacher's recommentdation- the criteria of which must include how well we take critisism. I've always wondered what Mrs. Clark said about me.

Way back when I was using Gaia for RPGs and forums I posted one of my shorter works on the board and asked for critisism. Someone told me that it was crap, that I should give it up, and that it didnt rhyme. Hello, it's called free verse and it doesn't have to rhyme.

I guess I was in for it when I wrote about what I did- I write not from experience (let's face it, my life isn't that interesting) but from imagination. But still, a comment that cruel made me not a happy person.

But I wrote some more in seminar today- having discovered my old poetry book the other day- and was somewhat happy with it. It was actually inspired by the beginning of the 7th volume of FAKE- where Ryo is all "i don't know why but i keep looking for him out of the corner of my eye" or something to that effect. I'll post it when I get back from taking Christophe to Tae Kwon Do.

But, the show, it's going really well (I hope- I'd hate to think that Andy is having a coronary over how much we suck and what the hell he got himself into) and we'll do good. Right. aBBA-SOLUTELY. "twill be a cakewalk. Or something as fun as the other games which senior citizens play at the home. Like lawn bowling or...shuffleboard? Would their backs hurt during that? Maybe.

Hella cool.

Speaking of cool- needs to get going on my cosplay outift for the con. Mucho Sanzo de Saiyuki goodness. heeheeeheeheehee.

And I found out that the theme for prom is like, Old Hollywoood, or something. I heard they will be playing Frank, so am muchos happys. Maybe I can convince them to play The Faint...or the cool Punjabi and Indian club music we had at our prom last year.

Only a few more days till I can buy a lotto ticket. Coolness

Now off to TKD.
