Did y'all hear about the Firefly movie? "Serenity"? For me who has only seen 2 epis of the show, it actually looks quite interesting. The crazy child prodigy kid is like the main person of the plot and she kicks major ass in the previews.

Speaking of movies, I went and saw "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" this afternoon- somewhat decent movie, definitely a chick flick. What really bothered me about it was that his whole coming of age story has the girls as 16 and 17. I mean, Alexis Bledel's chara goes to Greece, falls in love, and she's my brother;s age! The guy she falls in love with looks 22! It was kinda unbelievable especially since I watch her on Gilmore Girls and she plays a college student. That, and I hated Bridget's character. She's the blonde gorgeous one who goes to soccer camp in Mexico, shows off to get the attention of an off-limits coach, and eventually sleeps with him. I hated watching her on screen (not that the actress wasn't good) but her lines were cliched like "Race ya!" and "I always get what I want". Argh, I say. Still, rather enjoyable with sad parts. Must see mr. and Mrs. Smith, which comes out soon.

I was going to write a con report but don't feel like it. Suffice to say that Anime North was fun, my FF award was for Comedy (which kicked major ass!), and I didn't do nearly aa much as I wanted to. I didn't go to any panels and didn't see a lot of viewings. Muy disappointed. But still, my vids that I took with my skanky cam are cool.

Now I have to pick my residence for next year!
