This has been the longest day I've had for awhile simply because of the fact that iwas up at 7:30 to go to the gym. As I have spent most of the remained of the day by the pool I have reached a point where I can say nothing but "Damn, this is good." That and, because of promotion to general dogsbody where mom sends me out for errands and I went to return her library books this morning and came home with bunches of new ones, I now have stuff to read poolside. I think that my fave non-fantasy author right now is Nora Roberts, because everytime I go to the library, my bag is filled with her stuff.
Mom and Lynn are busy cooking because we are (yet again, for the third time in 2 weeks) having people over for dinner. I don't really mind b/c it means lots of good food. And we only have so much room at the dining room table that Chris and I eat elsewhere. Mom was up for giving up her spot though, apprently our guests tonight are bigwigs or summat.
Mel got me a copy of Alena's "RENT" Original Cast Recording but songs are scratched so I have to whine to get the original to burn. It was rather funny while driving to have these Latinos stare at me as I had "Tango Maureen" turned up really loud.
I love my musicals. I really want to get the "Spamalot", "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels", and "Light in the Piazza" soundtracks too (all were nominees at the Tony's). And "Victor/Victoira". Barnes and Noble has an entire show section but I can't afford them. I WANT 'EM!!!
