Picked up Stef last night and we headed over to see Kat in "The Sound of Music"- it started out a nice night (I was wearing my new shoes so I felt great) but on our way down a car in front of me suddenly stopped so I changed lanes- at the samw time a person had crossed 3 lanes of traffic and came one fucking inch to broadsiding me. I swore like I have never swore before. I wasn't quite sure who was at fault- I assumed it was an adult driver and perhaps I hadn't signaled early enough but we passed the car three miles later and it turned out to be a couple of teenagers- younger than me.
Anyway- the show was excellent (I had a surprise when I saw Cynthia was in the show as Liesl- she was amazing!). The cast was excellent (Max was especially funny) so we had a good night. We laughed a bit at Kat cuz she was dressed as a nun, a party guest, and later as the thrid place finishers in the music festival. She wore this traditional Austrian outift which was really funny. Then I drove Stef home around 11.
However, while all this was happening, Dad was at home with ou neighbour's kids (all 4 of them). I was supposed to babysit them for the night but had already made plans to go to the show so Dad watched them until I got back. He actually called me during the show and said "Save me!". I calmly told him the Nazis were invading so I would have to call him back. When I got home I hoofed the kids over to their house and slept in the guest room. I had hoped to sleep in but the dog woke me up which in turn woke the girls up. The two youngest (4 and 5) decided that they wanted to come and sit with me. The second oldest had to drag them out of the room before I hurt them.
I don't like children.
But I like money.
Either way, it worked out to some extent.
And then I watched SG:A "Duet". Hilarious. Brilliant. I loved it. Need more Ronan, though. And Weir screwed up and called Shep "Major" although he was promoted to Colonel a few episodes ago.
I want more Ford! I miss him!!
