So the teeth are out and while the surgery itself wasn't extremely trying, I am feeling some of the after-effects. I actually don't even remember falling asleep. The rubber band on my amr hurt more than the actual IV and I said so to the nurse whose hand i was told to squeeze. Then they gave me some oxygen and next thing I knew I was being told to try and keep my eyes open. I remmber the last time I was under the knife getting my tonsils out and I remember falling asleep. Here, nothing.
I am still bleeding which is an absolute pain in the ass cuz I am stuffed full of gauze. earlier when I got home I had an allergy attack which meant sneezing. My face was still frozen which meant I was sneezing blood and spit and snot all over myself cuz I couldn't keep my orifices closed. I am now wearing a fourth shirt, the previous ines covered in blood and drool. Not fun.
I am so hungry I could even eat the crappy food they serve at Taco Bell. I have had a couple of milkshakes and some pop but I didna want to risk pudding or melted chocolate becuase that would mean that I would have to clean muy mouth out and I am still too sore. The surgeon, however, said that I should have a very quick recovery as my teeth came out exceptionally easy. It is weird that i can feel the sticthes with my tongue.
Now if only the rest of my face would unfreeze...
Chris gets his wisdom teeth out tomorrow at 8am so he'll have a longer day of pain than I did (mine were out at 1). I ran into Kyle at the office- he was getting his teeth out at the same time so we chatted about univeristy before we were called in. Then we hobbled out together. It was really hard to walk with all the drugs in my system so I kept stumbling.
We went to Blockbuster pre-surgery to get some movies we could watch over the next few days. we got "Blade Trinity", "team America:World Police", "constantine", and "Amelie".
Time to take the ice off of my face again. Have taken many embarrasssing pics of me looking like chipmunk/ Princess Leia and will post later.
