Guess who had a fire alarm go off while she was having class on the 14th floor of Robarts Library? That would be me... I was about 25 mins into my Japanese class when the alarm went off. My TAs were unsure about what to do but then one of them went to find Kondo sensei. She came in and told us that we had to get out. My entire class (only about 15 people) packed up their stuff and we made our way down 14 long flights of stairs to get out. It was kinda cool- I leaned over the railing and all I could see were stairs. Then when we got to the bottom I looked back down and it was equally cool. We stood outside for a while and then Kondo sensei decided that we could just all go home and that we would try and stay an extra half hour after tomorrow's class.

Certainly an interesting way to spend an hour.

Off to French!

PS: Mom, I actually have no definitive explanation for the phrase "cold as f____". I shall endeavour to think of one.
