Every so often light flurries fall from the sky and I think to myself "Toto, we're not in Arkansas anymore..." It is certainly getting to be cold up here but my newly purchased scarf and mitts are certainly helping to keep me from becoming an ice cube. The worst part is when I am going to my morning classes and I notice a decided difference in the temperature in my room and outside.

I got back my Spanish composition back today, a 70%, which isn't horrendous. I think in comps so far I have gotten 70, 80, 70, and then on my midterm I think I got 75%, so not too bad an average there. I went to my Jap class and started talking with one of my classmates who is minoring in Spanish and Portuguese or something- he speaks excellent Spanish. So we chatted a bit and I think I didn't screw up too badly. It's nice to have an actual conversation in Spanish as opposed to answering questions in my tutorials. I am seriously hating my tutorial, but what can you do?

So much studying right now- 4 or 5 tests in the next two weeks has me extremely busy but my attention span is as short as ever. I feel somewhat productive but extremely bored. Only 4 1/2 weeks until I'm back in Arkansas.
