It was back to pop culture class today after a two week hiatus and Professor K was as disorganized as usual. Sometimes I wonder how he can be a prof when he is always forgetting to assign the text studies, forgets things, and keeps the wrong records.
Then I had my Spanish presentation- the oral one- and suffice to say that my partner was really really nervous- she said her knees were shaking and she laughed hysterically, a little. I think we did okay, but I talked more than she did. I just kept worrying that my accent was off, which it was, but there is nothing to be done now. I'm also supposed to get my Spanish midterm back tomorrow morning but that's what we were told last week so we'll see whether or not it actually happens.
I find myself, in the last week or so, snacking more. This is bad. Especially considering that I have no food in my room, having put off buying groceries, I am a tad perplexed as to how I keep finding food to eat. Speaking of food, a girl in my Japanese class, when asked to describe U of T's shokudou (caferterias) she said that "U of T no shokudou wa warui desu. Victoria no tabemono wa totemo warui desu". Basically, U of T is bad, Victoria;s food is very bad. She said that BDH's menu was like prison food. Us Victorians in the class were quite offended. I certainly think that BDH has its days, like any other place, but right now I really wish I had one of their hot brownies with chocolate sauce. Yummmmm.... *drool*
So hungry, and therein lies the problem with going to dinner at 5:30, 6 o'clock. You are hungry by 10 or so. And as I am usually up until 1:30, tengo mucho hambre (I am very hungry).
