So yesterday (this was, of course, pre-drinking goodness) I went to the first meeting for the tech crew of "Closer". I am once again acting as ASM under the incredible guidance of Shep, Danny is our props master, and of course, our wonderful TDs Kristen and Claire. And Diana is directing- I predict good things.

But then I learned that the play has 12 scene changes all involving removal and placement of new furniture, props, and lamps.

12!!!!


I predict that I will go crazy from this play, but it is too early to tell. Not to mention that in a few weeks I'll be working on "Play Alive" as sound tech (?) which is apparently very difficult and I will just be learning it the day off. That morning, in fact.

Eek.

Now off to find a decently stocked Future Shop
