Yesterday I pushed buttons and listened to sex and ate pink.
Happy Belated Birthday to Mom- I love you and will see you Saturday! Do you remember when Chris and I were younger we would cover the kitchen table in Shediac with a white cloth, energetically throw purple, pink, red, and white heart confetti all over the table and, incidentally, the floor, put the cake and napkins in some artfully aranged pattern, and sing loudly when you came in.

Yesterday I gave out Harry Potter valentines that I bought at Rexall. I felt very nostalgic, reminded of my elementary days when you bought cool valentines for the entire class and the teacher gave you a brown paper bag and you would decorate it with crayons and doilies. I appreciated them.

At the erotic poetry night I got my only flowers and they now sit in an empty peach jar on my desk, drooping haphazardly.
