I LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!
Was there ever any doubt? I should hope not. What with getting home from 2 weeks of vacation, numerous house-sitting and baby-sitting and going to the gym, and massive computer problems in which mine is now the computer everyone has to use, I have been rather busy. Too busy to blog, says I.
I had made a day-to-day list of everything, or at least the highlights of my trip to Canadia, but alas! i lost it. So I shall tell it in pictures:

I have come to the conclusion that I am very tired of flying. Sad, I know, when I only fly between 4-8 times/year, but this time, I was just not in the mood to fly, to be in an airport, to sit on an airplane so I was very cranky. Thank God that all the flights were on time. If any of them had been even 5 minutes late in taking off, I would have strangled the person next to me. Unfortunately for me, Chris was next to be on every flight save one. And the one time where I was between Chris and this woman who liked to wear old sneaks, rainbow shirt, and over-all shorts and asked me if I was returning from Italy. Why? Because my purse looked italian and i looked european, apparently. Well, the purse did have italian written on it....
Anyhoo- my time in downtown Toronto was spectacular- hanging with Kt, the ferrets, Mere, and getting very drunk in a very short period of time at the Green Room. I was so happy to see Emma, Maria, Danny again. Miss them still and can't wait to see them when school starts up again. Yummm...sangria. And I bought several delightful yaoi manga (including YELLOW #4!!!!! OMGDFUISRHGUEHG!!) and squeed and giggled over House with Kt.
Then we headed up North to the Kawartha lakes for one of the best weekends of my summer- wakeboarding, seedooing, a lot of beer, and glorious weather! Great seeing Chio., Jon, Aaron, and the peeps again- even if I was cursing their names the next day when I could barely move...
And then it was off to the airport again to fly to Moncton, NB to see mom's 'rents. Grampy is doing okay and Nina is waiting for a hip replacement. My knee continued to ache. Chris and I drove around Shediac, where I grew up, and after only half an hour there, I continued to think in the glorious butchered french that is east coast canadian chiac. It was so weird to be back there but I realized how much I love the different-ness that is Shediac, Moncton, and Riverview. And I had fried clams, so all was amazing. Lot of shopping at Champlain place and I bought a book on boating as am considering getting my boating license. I love boats, the water, wakeboarding. Maybe I can get a job working with boats next summer....
Then we drove to Saint John, NB to see dad's parents. Lots of drinky-drinky, saw POTC2 (LOVED IT!!!! DON'T CARE WHAT THE CRITICS SAID, I LOVED IT!!!! And I have a Will/Jack poster, so I squee even more), did more shopping, rented some movies (Aeon Flux and Pink Panther- former i had seen and thought entertaining, latter was HORRIBLE!!), had a donair from Pizza Delight, the usual.
Then we flew from Saint John to Toronto to Chicago to Arkansas where immediately after returning home at 8pm, I ran down the block to check on my housesitting charge, a cat named Jasmine who is one of the few cats I tolerate and even find adorable.
Enter then the past week of going to the gym, struggling with my knee, housesitting some more, 105 F WEATHER!! and getting my course options straightened out for registration tomorrow. Played tennis a couple of times this week and see some improvement, which is wonderful. And shopping, spending some of my wonderfully earned cash.
And I got a scholarship from Vic b/c of my GPA!!! YAY!!!! So overjoyed were my parents that they got me to look up more scholarships online today so they don't have to pay anymore... Dean's List and a scholarship certainlty doesn't get me any respect, I'm telling you.
Ah!well, course registration tomorrow so I hope it goes well and I don't have to kill anyone.
And according to the EAS website, EAS209 is now a F or S course, but the timetable adjustment doesn't say this. Who to trust? says I...
