3 hours of sleep at a hotel by the airport after getting back from certain festivities and then getting up at 4am to do my favorite thing in the world (aka spend all day in an airport. well, I was home by noon, but the fact is i was in an airport from 5am-noon, which seems like all day. how the hell am i going to handle 15 hours on a plane from here- dallas-tokyo?) got me back to the extremely muggy state of Arkansas. Of course, no one was home as chris was at his last day of school and the rents are in montreal, so I was by myself for a couple of hours in a large empty house where I don't really live anymore. Of course, I was full of joy at seeing the dog and we pranced and paraded for a while, but it would have been nice to have had someone home to meet me that was not a canine. My taxi driver from the airport was an interesting person. When we reached the gates to my subdivision he asked if we had towait for security (we have booths at the gates), I said no, we went in, he immediately asked if all these houses were multiple family apartments, I said no, and then he went on about how anyone could afford to live there, and more of "wow, them houses are really big." There is a reason why i don't talk to cab drivers- their smalltalk is rather difficult to respond to.

And now there has been some disturbing news that I am not ready to deal with, and was not told about, and now I leave for Japan in a couple of days so I am about ready to burst. Idon't need this right now.

It occured to me yesterday and then sent me into cold sweats that next week when I look out my window i won't see my neighbours' houses, grass, or joggers. I won't see the back alley and dumpster with office people smoking in it, like at MAH.

I'll be looking at Tokyo.
