I think it is interesting how sometimes, some things come full circle. For instance, way back in my first year, me and KT went to Robarts to hear tell of the ISXO study in Japan program. Ignorant I was of both japanese and traveling abroad, I remember listening to this guy talk about how he got a watch from an old lady when he was working at a host club, or the trips they took. I looked at them like they were gods who got to do something i would never do.

well, last week i became one of them. I was asked by Komuro and the ISXO to come in and talk about my experiences, answer questions, etc. I saw people I took Japanese with years ago, met new people, and we all said the same thing "we want to go back", or "i miss yoshinoya", or "i want to go shopping". Hell, i even miss the JR trains sometimes.

And then afterwards, i had new students come up to me and ask questions about Japan. 'Twas a weird feeling, but I had a great time and envy those that are going in my place.
