Today was belgian waffle bar day at the dining hall! By far the best brunch we have had so far! Whipped cream, cherry sauce, yum! The eggs were not so good but I suspect that's because I had to let them sit while I made my waffles. Alison and Maria weren't here so they missed an excellent day of food. Tonight's dinner is spare rips, meatballs, veggies, rice, and lentils with coriander. And of course, salad. Hopefully it's good.

Talked with mom on the phone this morning/afternoon (I had set my alarm for 10 but didn;t have the energy to get up, then mom called) and she said she might be coming up for Thanksgiving. Hoepfully it will happen and I might be able to go see my old high school's graduation ceremony. There are a few teachers that I would really like to see.

Finished my spanish homework, thank god. I really can't figure out why I hate this class, we've only had one. I am desperately hoping that it will get better as I have it three times/week. Also finished my Japanese homework and am feeling immensely proud of myself. I'd say that my writing has gotten a lot better (technique wise) and I can read faster. All the audio files I listen to are definitely helping. But, we only just finished the preliminary lesson and we move onto katakana this week. My katakana is pretty rusty so we'll see how that goes.

We have our first meeting for the play tomorrow. The play is actually an installment in what our college is calling "what are you weighting for?", a fest on body image. It will have spoken word and other stuff that I'm not quite sure about. Hopefully I will find a stage manager soon!
