Sitting in front of a real fire roasting marshmallows is definitely a holiday activity for me. And thanks be to the gods for dropping the temperature down here to a healthy zero degrees so that I am not roasting while doing it.

It is also sleeping in, drinking lots of tea, and eating far too many sweets.

And watching Mom learn how to play Guitar Hero.

The holidays are spending all my xmas money on clothes, make-up, and handbags. It is being bored, but a good kind of bored. It is catching up on all my missed television, sleep, and trying to adapt to a new eating schedule.

And of course, putting my finances for the society in order. God, do I love trying to sort out theatrical spending.

And let's not forget the full round of testing done at the doctor's office, and the lab results that came back today saying that I am in the clear for the first time in almost 8 years.

So yes, holidays are great. Boredom is busy and tiring, but I know that when I return to TO in a week's time, I will welcome the rush.

Until 3 weeks pass, then I will be whining for reading week.
