Took the night off with Mike and Nastassia to go see the Golden Compass. Despite critics not being too fond, I really enjoyed it. Ian MacKellen voicing an alcoholic polar bear? In love, love, love.

I haven't read the books but I will be starting them when I go home. Mike tells me they left off the last couple of chapters in the movie, which would have ended it completely differently. Alas, movie makers and their edits.

But Nicole Kidman played an interesting character, and the daemons were cute, but I wanted more Daniel Craig. And more drunk polar bears.

After Iyoric ripped off the other polar bear's jaw, Mike and I wanted to yell "Who's your daddy now, bitch!?"
